One of the hardest parts about having a little girl who is non-verbal is when she’s not feeling well, it’s just a guessing game to find out what’s wrong. My wife noticed she looked a little pale this morning, but it wasn’t until she suddenly threw up at therapy that we suspected something was wrong. She threw up again when she got home from therapy, but is napping now and seems, generally in good spirits. The only thing we can really do in these instances is our modified version of the BRAT diet and hope it goes away in a day or two.
Our modified version of the brat diet (which apparently is no longer the recommended treatment):
Toast
Crackers
Brown Rice
Water
White meat chicken
Apples
That’s pretty much it and a lot of hugs.
